“This dashboard is broken, but let’s not discuss it in front of leadership.”
To discuss or address an issue separately from a larger meeting or conversation. A polite way to say, "Let’s stop wasting everyone else’s time." Often said right before someone immediately brings the topic back up in the same meeting. Usually means no one actually wants to deal with it.
"I’d love to explain why the project is delayed, but let’s take it offline… and preferably off my plate."
