The capacity to handle a certain amount of work or tasks. The universal excuse for saying "I don’t want to do this" without getting fired. Frequently used by managers who seem to have unlimited bandwidth for scheduling meetings but zero for actual work. A polite way of saying, "Not my problem."
"I’d love to help, but I just don’t have the bandwidth to take on another dumpster fire."
